I've been considering a CPU upgrade for my current setup and received a few ideas. It seems like a move toward an i7-9700k or i9-9900k might be wise, but I’m hesitant about jumping to the i9 right away. After researching, there don’t appear to be any attractive deals on the i9 in Sweden that match my budget. I checked the i7 option, which is much more affordable and offers similar performance. I’m still deciding whether to buy now or wait for better opportunities. Will this affect how well the game runs now and how it handles future updates?

Hold on, a 2070 won't have much impact on gaming. If you're eager for a boost, consider an NVMe SSD instead.

Choose the i7 instead of the i9, though you won’t see much improvement when gaming at 1440p. Make sure to refresh your BIOS before adding a 9th generation CPU to the board.
