In DIY markets, many boards overlook these limits and boost timers, so in a typical Z series board the K and non-K behave almost identically.

I wondered about this since the official Intel site mentions a non-K version with a Max Turbo Frequency of 5.4GHz. I assumed that setting Performance-core to 3.4GHz and Efficient-core to 2.5GHz would match the K version's frequency. (14700 appears on both sides.)

Midnight X Tomahawk DDR4 with 32GB RAM at 3600MHz paired with an i7-14700 / Alphacool eisbear 360 AIO RX7800xt and Philips Evnia 34M2C3500L offers great performance for gaming. A 2560x1440 display might be better for higher FPS depending on the game.
