The choice comes down to one clear winner. Comparing these options reveals distinct strengths. The AMD Ryzen 7 4700U stands out for gaming performance, while the Intel Core i5 10300H offers solid overall efficiency. The Ryzen 5 4600H is a budget-friendly alternative. Your decision hinges on your needs—gaming or everyday tasks?

The model number varies based on the GPU connected and the laptop model. It mainly depends on the laptop's build. Are you asking about the complete setup or just the processor?

4700U is an APU model, while the 4600H is a GTX 1650. I'm not sure how much gaming impact it will have. I think 4700U will run cooler and likely offer better long-term stability. At least that's what I believe. The 4600H matches it in CPU performance, but its dedicated graphics are a bit of a draw.

It really hinges on the laptop model. When choosing one, consider not just the technical details but also the overall build quality of the case—keyboard, screen, touchpad, battery, etc.—as it matters a lot.

I don't have certainty until I tested the hardware with hwmonitor and performed a disassembly. After the purchase, I'll run hwmonitor to confirm my findings.

She talked about Bayonetta, Dante, Zombie Apocalypse, GTA 5, Monster Hunter. I might team up with her for some Portal 2 co-op maybe. It's not super new. Here are the links:
- Altex laptop HP 15s
- Altex laptop gaming Lenovo IdeaPad 3
- Altex laptop gaming Dell Inspiron 3500 G3
- Altex laptop gaming Intel Core i5 10300H
Feel free to check them out!

This means you'd probably need to increase the memory to 12GB, since 4GB is likely already fixed on the board (8GB isn't ideal) for a regular laptop use. Consider getting the 4700U if you want to adjust settings in certain titles. Edit: the laptops seem like they're not very good designs overall.

I didn’t use laptops for gaming much. I used an ultralight CULV for years. What really counted were the battery life and good screen/keyboard setup. Now I’m looking for something different.

I found only one image available. It shows both Intel and AMD models. I’m unsure which one it is, but I think they both have two slots without RAM built in. That means the specs suggest only one slot is used, while the other can take another 8GB stick to reach 16GB. Running single channel isn’t great, but that upgrade will be possible later. All three models listed have dual slots, which matches my understanding. She mentioned she won’t do much work at home, so this will be a toy for her.
