I can purchase these from Microcenter for $190, $250, and $320. With an i7 8700k, what should I choose? I mainly play games at 1440p and 165hz.

The 10600K isn't a major leap from the 8700K. A 10700K at that cost feels quite sensible. I wouldn't suggest the i9 unless you're certain you require 10 cores. (I don't necessarily advise the i7 unless you're sure you need 8 cores)

He’s running at 1440p and 165 hz. That i7 is definitely not too low.

It's a price of 250 dollars! DDR5 will be costly and includes a platform upgrade, and it won't offer 8 cores for that amount.

Are you the only one who believes your CPU is okay? The 8700K remains solid, and at 1440p you shouldn’t face any problems.
