It looks like you're aiming to cut costs and are using a 1080p/60 setting. You don't need an 8700K for that.

Why? You won't notice a difference at 1080p60, and if you don't plan to buy a better monitor in the next year, then you might as well upgrade to something better in the future anyway.

I’m thrilled to let you know I’m switching to AMD. I’ve just located the components I need in a drawing to pair with my AMD CPU, and I’m really excited about it!
