Hello! I purchased a Ryzen 5 2600X for my gaming PC and plan to connect it with a 5700XT Red Devil. I’ll be running AAA games at 1440p and 144hz. The 2600X was bought for 125 euros, while the 3600 costs 190 euros. It looks like there’s a significant price gap between the two. Is spending more justified to get the 3600? Thanks!
The 3600 performs similarly to Intel products overall, whereas the 2600X falls short in that regard. For gaming purposes, I’d recommend the 3600, particularly at those higher resolutions and with its GPU. The extra cost is worth it for the performance gains. I’ve experienced this on the Intel side a few years back, so price differences aren’t a concern. If you’re able to spare the money, go for it.
