Hey there! I just upgraded to an RTX 3070 and am really impressed with the speed improvements compared to my 1050 Ti. I spent some time adjusting the Nvidia Control Panel settings today and am curious about the ideal V-Sync setup for my configuration. Both monitors are 1080p at 60Hz without G-Syncs. What’s the best balance of minimal input lag, top performance, and no screen tearing? I usually rely on Game VSync and letting the application handle frame rate in the Control Panel. Thanks! Have a great day!

Use Go for vsync in the settings menu. Activating vsync in games often results in increased input delay.

Turn off VSync in the game settings. That caused me to feel concerned because it kept my GPU at nearly full capacity while trying to maintain smooth performance.

Turn it off in the game. Also remember that if VSync is completely turned off and you exceed your monitor's refresh rate (75fps), performance improves noticeably. I'm uncertain about possible tearing issues.

Vsync completely disabled causes minor tearing. Ideas about Nvidia triple buffering?
