Hello, your current setup uses an i5 13600K with the 4070-Ti Super, and you're playing at 1440P. Switching to an i9 14900K or i7 14700K could offer significant performance gains, especially at that resolution. The sale on these CPUs might make the upgrade more attractive.

The benefits don’t seem significant unless you can offer the 13600 at the same cost as the new chip.

I wasn't expecting a big increase at first.

For CPUs and GPUs specifically, when there isn't a major promotional event such as Black Friday or holiday sales, it doesn't qualify as a sale. It's simply because they're not being offered at their standard price.

Generally, you'd see improvement in games that rely on CPU power. A quicker CPU won't make much difference if the GPU is already operating near full capacity. However, this only applies when the new CPU offers a substantial performance gain initially. If the game runs smoothly with fewer resources, additional cores may not help much, but more efficient cores could still provide some benefit.

My configuration remains consistent; GPU stays consistently high at 99% during 1440p even when settings are lowered.
