I was checking out some options for her this holiday and thought about getting an Acer Z35. She already has a GTX 770 with 4GB RAM and an i5 4670K. Her main game is World of Warcraft, so I’m wondering if the 2560x1080 resolution will work. I’m also thinking about upgrading her graphics card to something like a 1060 if needed. Ideally, she should be able to hit around 80 frames per second on average, which would let her enjoy the higher refresh rate with G-Sync.

It's impressive how fast it can handle light tasks. Just make sure it stays updated for better performance.

Wow, 770 is more than enough for WoW—even the 2GB edition works well at that setting. Upcoming titles will be challenging, but you should still achieve around GTX 1050 performance.
