The Aorus Pro offers a superior VRM IIRC. It varies based on your CPU choice and what you value most.
You're likely testing a D3H and an 8600K setup. While not ideal, it's still functional. An 8700K would be a superior option. The current configuration works, but upgrading to 8700K offers better performance.
the aorus should offer improved vrms, but for someone like me who’s married to an asus, it doesn’t really matter. even though i missed out on many of the z390s’ vrms, they still work well for getting a 9900k in. i prefer asus bios, love the rog mobo look, and aura sync seems to be the most compatible rgb option. i’m not sure if the z390f has the memory testing features of the maximus xi hero, but that would be handy too. objectively, gigabyte had the best z390s, but i’d still choose asus. it’s the same with my move to amd—i might have gotten a good msi or gigabyte b550s, but the x570-f looks great and includes asus features.
The Aorus Pro offers superior VRMs, while the Strix F still functions adequately for overclocking a 9900K.
ASUS claims faster memory rates on the Z390-F compared to Gigabyte's Z390 Pro, though this might matter mainly for systems exceeding 4000MHz.
