Hi everyone, I'm working on getting my RAM to hit the rated speed of 3000 MHz. My setup includes an Aorus B450 Elite motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 2600 CPU, and a GeIL Super Luce RGB Sync 16 GB DDR4 memory (8 GB x 2). The default speed for DDR4 is 2133 MHz, and I've managed to set the XMP profile to run at 2400 MHz. However, whenever I adjust the multiplier to values like 26.67 or 29.33—within the motherboard's limits—I experience a cold boot twice, then it boots normally on the third try but reverts to 2133 MHz. I've attached some BIOS screenshots. I've observed that in one profile setting, the "Profile DDR Voltage" is set to 1.35V, while another (possibly "Advanced Voltage Settings") reads 1.20V. Should I override these values and set them to 1.35V to align with the profile, or is there another way to handle this? I'm not very comfortable tweaking the BIOS much, so I've only changed the memory multiplier. Thanks for your guidance. Edited March 12, 2019 by dionddc Attach images
Does it have an XMP profile for your sticks on the PC? I’m using Corsair 3200 CL16. I was in the BIOS and it showed XMP profile 2, which supports 3200 rated. What does the other profile display?

The settings you mentioned—Disabled and Profile 1—restore the default values: DRAM frequency at 2133 MHz, multiplier at 30, and DRAM voltage at 1.35V while keeping the CH A/B voltage at 1.2V. Raising the DRAM voltage to 1.35V seems safe, though it’s good to understand why these changes occur. The images you attached might clarify the differences between the voltage levels.
Attempted to raise CH A/B voltage to 1.35 V but faced issues. No booting at 2667 MHz occurred. Consider turning off XMP and entering timings manually?
