I believe both options are decent, but I prefer the gigabyte because I've used them for years without any problems. The pCI lane setup on the gigabyte tends to be very reliable, and the VRMs are more than sufficient. If you decide to tweak things and try overclocking for fun or experimentation, the gigabyte remains a strong choice. I personally boosted my older i7 8700k to 5.1GHz in less than five minutes on their boards. If you opt not to overclock and just want to build and play games normally, the more budget-friendly model is the better pick.
