I purchased a DDR4 M.2 and have been using it for some time; it's working perfectly. I'm considering upgrading to DDR5 because I've worked with that technology before and noticed slightly higher error rates around 1% compared to my current setup. The Asus Prime Z790-P or Gigabyte Z790 UD offers the best value I've found, as they're budget-friendly. Since I have a K-series CPU, I want flexibility in capacity—32GB, 64GB options are available—but stock choices are limited. I'm not certain if an extra pair of Ripjaws 3600MHz CL16 would be stable, though it might work outside the official list.
