I’d choose the X570 for the desired appearance; if you need the black and red look, the B550 offers quite a bit of similarity in I/O.
they run on 12 SiC639 chips, matching the B550-F design. both offer strong performance overall. their costs vary, but you should check current pricing. your needs will depend on what you plan to use them for—budget and capabilities matter.
They cost about 320 USD in my country. I’m 99% sure it will support a Ryzen 4, so I’m planning to buy one. Likely I’ll also upgrade to newer cards from NVIDIA or upcoming AMD models. You can mention I’m stuck with these right now. But currently I have a Ryzen 3600 and a 1080.
They're both decent options, and the x570 Prime Pro includes a front type C header too. From a VRM perspective, they're essentially the same. You could pick either one honestly since they perform well. If you have more choices, look into the B550 A Pro, Aorus Pro, Tomahawk, X570 TUF or X570 Tomahawk—they're all solid too. Both models support Zen 3 with a BIOS update, but Zen 4 will require a new chipset.
they plan to support Zen 3 (excluding APU models, which are Zen 2), and Zen 4 CPUs (such as Ryzen 5000) will run on a new chipset.
