Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing fine. I placed a bid on two motherboards on eBay—ASUS P8Z77-V LX and ASUS P8Z68-V / GEN3—and I ended up winning both. I'm wondering which one people prefer more. I'm considering keeping one for a budget gaming rig and the other for an Unraid server. Thanks, Theldron

I noticed you secured the P8z77 for 51, which is a solid deal. The P8Z68 could offer more overclocking potential, though they’re otherwise quite alike.

If the P8Z77 had arrived with bent pins, the packaging was poor—brown paper and bubble wrap, no cover for the CPU socket. I reached out to the seller but couldn’t return it since it was isolated. I tried bending the pins back and will check the board to see if it works. If it doesn’t, the decision is already made.
