Hi, I’m looking to buy a new gaming PC. I’m unsure whether the Ryzen 7 3700X or the 3900X is better for me. I understand games don’t require huge CPU power, but I’m not sure how it affects 4K gaming. Also, some games like GTA 5 demand a lot of processing power. Could you share your thoughts or experiences on this? Thanks!

It doesn't matter. The 3700x will behave similarly to the 3900x, so choose 3700.

It's a 3900x, but it doesn’t offer much improvement over your friend’s 3700x. You’re looking for a quick processor without the need for 12 cores for gaming.

3700X and 3900X behave very similarly across every game regardless of resolution. Choose 3700X and opt for the higher-end graphics card if you want better visuals.
