Compare AMD B550, B550A and B450 models.
This comment and associated video/article alleges that the AMD B550A is simply the B450 chipset with PCIe 4.0 enabled, similar to how we saw some B450 boards with PCIe 4.0 enabled but then taken away by AMD via BIOS update. . This MSI board is named B550-A but the spec sheet claims it has the B550 chipset. Is this an oversight or unfortunate naming mistake on MSI's part or is the spec sheet wrong and the board actually using the B550A chipset?
The MSI B550-A board is also known as B550-A Pro. The B550 represents the chipset, while A Pro denotes the model name.
