I use it for both spreadsheets and gaming. My spreadsheets, especially those with many macros and formulas, can become quite demanding, though my setup manages them smoothly. Game loads have generally been fast except for Star Wars Battlefront II.

The difference between 32GB 3200 and 32GB 3600 is negligible, so I wouldn't suggest swapping 32GB for another size. Choosing 8GB sticks is even less attractive since you might end up with slower 1Rx16 cards and miss out on noticeable improvements. Keep in mind that adding more sticks puts extra strain on your CPU's memory controller, which could need more adjustments like voltage and timing settings to maintain stability.

Second-guessing your board because it has four slots rather than two isn't typical. This wasn't an error unless you're experiencing significant frustration with empty slots. Building boards with only two slots can be restrictive, often prompting a RAM upgrade later. It's probably worth exploring RAM options further to better understand the system's capabilities.

Sometimes you can't achieve faster RAM clock speeds with 4x compared to 2x.

Gather another 2x16 unit and check the performance. All our Intel and AM4 boards handle four sticks at top speeds. In four years, with just 32 GB, what options exist for AM5?

I already have two 32GB DDR5 6000 modules. Later AM5 chips might support more sticks, but performance could also drop, we can't say for sure. The outcome depends on the motherboard's RAM slot layout, not just the CPU.
