I currently own a SFF PC built for a Sliger SM560 with a Ryzen 9 5900x and a Noctua NH-L9A. I’m considering switching to a Ryzen 9 9950x. I use this machine solely for video editing. Because the case is compact, a bigger cooler wouldn’t fit easily, and I’m avoiding AIO systems since I often travel with the computer. Would upgrading be beneficial? Would it cause serious thermal throttling? Would it still be worthwhile if I kept the CPU in Eco Mode? Thanks!

You can enhance the cooling performance similar to what @GuiltySpark_ shared. As expected, the CPU will face challenges under current conditions. Running in eco mode with undervolting is essential for that weak cooler, but it appears there are significantly better options available for the sliger.
