Hello, your current title seems to capture the essence of your situation. Switching from Euro Truck Simulator 2 to RDO has caused unexpected stutters, with FPS consistently around 60. You're playing at 1080p and have recently cleaned drivers using DDU and updated your AMD chipset drivers. It's a bit confusing what to do next. I've tested various game settings, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. My system specs are: Windows 10 Pro x64, fully up-to-date, with a GPU model of 𝙼𝙾𝙱𝙾: π™Άπš’πšπšŠπš‹πš’πšπšŽ π™±πŸΊπŸ»πŸΆ π™°π™Ύπšπš„πš‚ 𝙼 π™²π™Ώπš„: 𝙰𝙼𝙳 πšπš’πš£πšŽπš— 𝟻 πŸΈπŸΌπŸΆπŸΆπš‡ π™Άπ™Ώπš„: π™Όπš‚π™Έ π™Άπšƒπš‡ 𝟷𝟼𝟼𝟢 𝙢𝙰𝙼𝙸𝙽𝙢 πš‡ πŸΌπ™Άπ™± πšπ™°π™Ό: πŸ·πŸΌπ™Άπ™± π™³π™³πšπŸΊ 𝟸𝟼𝟼𝟼 𝚌𝟷𝟼 π™²πš˜πš›πšœπšŠπš’πš› πš…πšŽπš—πšπšŽπšŠπš—πšŒπšŽ πš‚πš‚π™³: π™Ίπ™Έπ™½π™Άπš‚πšƒπ™Ύπ™½ 𝙼.𝟸 πŸΈπŸ»πŸΆπ™Άπ™± π™½πš…π™Όπ™΄ π™°πŸΈπŸΆπŸΆπŸΆ 𝙷𝙳𝙳: πš‚πšŽπšŠπšπšŠπšπšŽ πš‚πšƒπŸΈπŸΆπŸΆπŸΆπ™³π™ΌπŸΆπŸΆπŸΎ π™±π™°πšπšπ™°π™²πš„π™³π™° πŸΈπšƒπ™± π™Ώπš‚πš„: π™²πš˜πš˜πš•πšŽπš› π™ΌπšŠπšœπšπšŽπš› πŸ»πŸΆπŸΆπš† 𝟾𝟢+ Any suggestions?

The issue with stuttering often stems from various unknown factors, so you’ll need to examine them one by one. Starting with temperature, what are your readings like? Are there any PCIe cards besides the graphics card present? If a PCIe card exists, consider moving it closer or further away to see if that improves performance.

Do games run on SSD? Frequent heavy use of the drive may lead to lag. GFE is a bit of a controversial product if you dig past the marketing claims. The main reason to install it is for special features such as ShadowPlay or RTX Voice (whatever it is called). Also, stutters might stem from network problems, so consider those too.

Yesterday I ran RDO all day and CPU and GPU stayed around 75/77Β°C. I don’t own any other PCIe cards. Most of them are on the HDD, which is slow but works for games like ETS2 since it’s compact. Similar problems have appeared. Can I turn off the GFE overlay in settings or should I remove everything? My network is strong and it seems fine. Thanks!

If you don’t need it for anything beyond drivers, I’d recommend removing it. Excessive network activity from other programs can trigger spikes. The same goes for the drive, as well as CPU and RAM utilization.

Installed but not active. Network usage is limited except for background tasks. I’ll attempt to stop resource-heavy apps such as Chrome to see if performance improves.

Background tasks often fetch updates or begin scans. This isn't unusualβ€”AV or Windows patches, or even browser refreshes can trigger similar behavior. Unless you notice performance drops matching load spikes, it's unlikely to be the main problem.

Some graphics cards can actually approach thermal throttling, while others don’t. If your card nears that point, you might see brief spikes before it cools down. Networking, app performance, and slow drive seek seem addressed, along with BIOS issuesβ€”especially relevant for older Ryzen models. It probably isn’t a big deal now, but checking if your BIOS is current would be wise.
