I've tried various loadouts and weapon placements on the 300i, and most combinations either fail or perform poorly. So far, the most effective setup I've found is three Omnisky VI rifles plus four Marksman rockets. Since we haven't covered a dedicated "loadout" section yet, feel free to share your insights—happy hunting!
You're using the default setting for 300i and it's performing well so far.
Yup, it's not bad but after playing for couple of days with 300i I've tried the hornet. I was surprised how much easier it was to progress further with it. The shield is much more capable and I've managed to put 4 lasers, 2 guns and 8 rockets. I would never be possible in 300i. I've gone to wave 12 in the first run where on the 300i I usually dies around wave 8-10. Let's see if that balance changes with further updates.
Have you experimented with the main firearms on the 300i? It’s a powerful sniper rifle—just one shot can take it down if you land it perfectly. I enjoyed the Hornet’s gatling rounds before switching to that 300i’s cannon...
That's quite similar to what others discussed online. I didn't manage time enough for play because of work and university last week. I've managed around 13th wave a few times without much success, often ending up in tough situations. There were some tight maneuvers and dodges with missiles, but I haven't had a chance to try the hornet yet. From what I've learned, it feels heavier compared to 300i, which is just straightforward. I appreciate the ideas but think adjustments are on the way.
