I was setting up a program named quantframe, which acts as a trading assistant for Warframe. It relies on a CMD window to function. The issue is that any CMD window I open eventually closes after a short or longer period—sometimes just a second, sometimes minutes or even hours. This happens with PowerShell windows too, but I’ve tried various fixes I found online without success. Additionally, the problem only appears in my main Windows profile; switching to another profile doesn’t resolve it.

You might want to compare the steps in your profile versus another when both are connected with CMD open. Check the variations and close them individually to see how challenging it is. I’d really consider reinstalling Windows instead of trying to fix it.

I would reinstall because it seems like a virus or trojan is causing issues, and it’s easier to reinstall everything than to troubleshoot the problem. Or since you discovered it’s limited to your main profile, reset it and begin fresh.
