Hey everyone, I recently upgraded from a GTX 1080 to a 6700XT and noticed some unexpected drops in GPU usage during gameplay, along with brief stutters. Despite updating chipset drivers, BIOS, and GPU drivers (including DDU before the change), the problem persists. I've attached a GPU-Z snapshot showing where these issues occur. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

There are numerous potential causes for stuttering. The first that comes to mind is its activation after receiving an amphora card. They’re known for delivering a strong impact. I’d like details on your machine specifications, especially the PSU type and age. A 6700xt Wii operates at power levels ranging from 1080 to 2080, and it can handle similar demands with added transient spikes. Edited February 19, 2023 by Bombastinator

1080 is in Pascal, Ampere is RTX30xx. The problem isn't with the power supply. It seems like the main limitation is either input/output or CPU performance, possibly a bad driver.

I understand the GPU variation. The power needs remain quite comparable overall. It's possible you're onto something, though there are several factors that might lead to stutters.
