Hi, I have two 8GB RAM modules with Hyperx Predator 3000 and CL17. I’m trying to add more sticks but can’t find a matching pair. I found a Hyperx Predator 3200 CL16 and wondered if I can combine them. Would it be possible to set both to 3400MHz and CL16 in the BIOS? Will that work? I also have an i7 9700K on an Asus Z390M Prime Plus.

Combining sticks can sometimes help, but it depends on the situation. If it does work, performance will likely be poor with low frequency and bad timing. You can adjust the speed for both kits to 3400 cl16 and see if it remains stable.
