Hi, I've been experiencing performance drops in my games lately. Everyone says it's probably just insufficient RAM. I considered upgrading but have a limited budget. I came across two Amazon links for memory options: one from HyperX and another from Corsair Vengeance. Both claim similar speeds and performance at a lower price. Since I already own Corsair modules, I'm curious if mixing different brands will affect my system. As a beginner, I want to make sure this won't cause any problems before making a decision.

I’d purchase a set of identical memory units and trade your existing one to offset the cost.

The HyperX model is CL15 while the Vengeance is C14, which means their designs differ. This could affect compatibility—possibly slower performance or complete failure. I suggest using Crucial sticks instead.
