I wasn't sure where to post this, so I thought about beginning here. I need to expand the capacity of the C:\ folder, since it’s nearly full. The problem is that the hard drive is divided into four partitions with separate letters. I have extra space on the drive, but the issue lies in the 4th and furthest partition from C:\. Disk management won’t allow merging non-adjacent partitions. I’m considering EaseUS Partition Master, but I’m not keen on buying it. The Aomei Partition Assistant seems suitable for free, though it doesn’t work on Windows Server. GParted isn’t an option because the server is already in use and I only have remote access. What do you think?

Clone the disk to a fresh drive. Adjust the partitions and remember, merging non-consecutive ones isn't possible since they're separate physical sections on the disks.

It seemed like I needed to take this step. I’m curious about how EaseUS handles it. They probably shift the data from partition 3 to 4, move stuff from 2 to 3, and then combine partitions 1 and 4 (now 1 and 2).
