Combine two network interfaces into one device.
Combine two network interfaces into one device.
Hi, I'm working on live video production with NDI and OBS. Right now I have one network card linked to the switch for NDI and no internet access. I also have another card connected directly to the internet. Can I combine them or set priorities so OBS uses NDI while still streaming externally? Thanks!
The setup appears logical. One card links to a switch but lacks internet access, while another connects to the internet. You can stream NDI via one card and use the other for internet streaming—provided the switch with NDI doesn’t have a gateway and sits in a separate IP range or subnet. For simplicity, connect the switch with NDI directly to the internet if you only need one connection. If you mean direct link to the modem without a router, link the switch with NDI to a router instead. When connected to a router, use the same cable for both switches.
