Hi, I'm setting up a new PC with 16GB of Olly Warhawk 3600 RGB. I'm thinking about adding another set of 16GB RAM sticks from the same brand—should I stick to one brand or mix them up?
Generally its recommended not to, many do it anyhow without issue though. Even if you get the exact same kit it could easily be different now, even ordering 2 kits at the same time they can both arrive with different chips in each kit. It may work or it may not. Up to you if the risk is worth it or not. If your using Intel its more likely to work, if using Ryzen its less likely to work.
