I set up Manjaro Gnome on my 15" Late 2011 MacBook Pro, and most functions are working. The main problem is with the display calibration—certain colors appear distorted, like blue and purple look off while others seem muted. I tried the built-in color profiles, but they made everything look poor. Since I prefer very vibrant displays, I usually increase brightness, but now some colors look unnatural. The system is fully updated, and I’m confident the display itself is fine because it doesn’t have this issue on macOS.

There could be color choices available in the initial party drivers or from any additional third-party drivers included with Manjaro.

It seems there are no drivers available, which is why you don't see a display. Explore these links for more information:

Have you explored every available stock color profile in the settings? Additionally, attempt to download an ICC file that is properly set up for your monitor model.

Identify the precise panel model by checking available documentation or manufacturer details.

I’m not sure exactly, I usually just look up the PC model when searching for good .icc files. Do you use Wayland or X.org? Try switching the display manager settings. Also, check the lspci -v output edited on February 26, 2019 by Guest.
