Today I received my new components: i5 13600kf, 850w PSU, Gigabyte B760Gaming motherboard, DDR4 2x16GB at 3600MHz CL16, and a Kingston Fury Renegade 16GB RAM. After assembling everything, I noticed discoloration in the BIOS logo, but once the system booted normally there was no issue. The problem reappeared after each restart. On my previous setup it didn’t cause any problems until I installed these parts. Before the i5 7400H110K-M RX470 with 4GB RAM and 16GB, I had an issue too—only now did it happen after all the hardware was added. On my current build, before the BIOS screen, there was discoloration with lines and squares instead of a black screen. Once I restarted, everything worked fine. Just before the BIOS screen, I saw a flash of discoloration, then the screen went black briefly.

Does it start Windows, or is this just a small inconvenience?

I successfully launched Windows, and I installed Path of Exile without any issues, playing for about half an hour.

It appears to be a blank display right before the boot screen, is it the infamous white screen of death? Never experienced that before.

I attempted it with the standard BIOS configuration too, but the issue remains unchanged. I also reached out to Gigabyte to get their perspective.

Gigabyte claims it might be due to an outdated card and lack of BIOS support. Also, I recommend testing it on a different GPU.

it was just a brief discoloration during those short Windows sessions. I noticed flickering in Windows today after restarting GPU Shift+Ctrl+R plus Win, but resolved it by adjusting the refresh rate.
