Hello! My RAM is a CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 Desktop Memory. The motherboard is ASUS Prime TRX40-pro. In BIOS I see it as 2133Mhz, but I need it at 3200Mhz. To achieve that, I enable D.O.C.P. in BIOS, which makes the RAM run at the correct speed. Everything seems okay except during cold boot. When I turn off and restart the PC after a long night, it works fine. However, the cold boot issue bothers me. Any suggestions? P.S. I also tried updating and downgrading the BIOS, but nothing changed. The problem still exists.
It has been functioning well for a while? Maybe the RAM has slightly lost capacity. In that case, turn on the docp before saving and restart. Then emphasize the DRAM voltage and press the plus key once—sometimes these slightly affected units can operate normally again with a tiny adjustment.
So none of the approaches worked out. Disabling D.O.C.P. is the only way to get a system load after a cold boot. I believe this is due to a BIOS update. The default BIOS was functioning properly, and I had been overclocking my RAM for three years before deciding to update the BIOS. Don't try to fix it unless you're certain it's faulty.
I attempted to turn on D.O.C.P. but managed to lower the memory frequency from 3200Mhz to 3000Mhz. It seems to function, though the system loads much slower. This feels unusual. Are there any options to revert my motherboard to its original BIOS settings? I tried downgrading to the 2020 version, but it doesn’t appear to work completely. In older BIOS versions there wasn’t a warning when enabling D.O.C.P., but the newer ones do.
