I noticed this noise first appeared in October of last year. At first I brushed it off, thinking everything was fine—after removing the GPU, no fans were damaged. My machine has been built since June 2023, so it’s not a dust problem. I’m wondering if this is related to coil whine or something else. Before reaching out to MSI, I want to confirm whether it sounds like coil whine. From what I’ve read, the early crackling isn’t that sound, but the vibrations afterward can be noticeable. IMG_3546.mov IMG_3546.mov How can I tell if this is my GPU? The CPU cooler looks new, and the PSU only spins under heavy loads. The sag bracket was just installed recently, so it shouldn’t be the cause. This noise only happens when the PC is off—it makes a faint buzz when powering down. It also came up during BIOS boot, but now it’s mostly during games, especially when pausing. I’ve shared parts of the video because it’s under 20MB.
