cod4 error

whenever i try to open it it says do you want to run it on safe mode blah blah blah and then whatever i press yes or no it says coudlnt write a file hard drive is probably full altough i have alot space left on my drive pls help

The details are basic, but this version is quite dated. It feels a bit silly, so I had to completely remove it and reinstall it. Did you find the game through a disk or another method?

Safe mode restarts everything to the original settings, so choose no. Search for COD4 profiles, remove them, restart the game, and start fresh.
