Trying to hit 120 fps consistently on my setup: Ryzen 9 3900x, GTX 1080ti Strix, 16GB RAM at 3200Mhz. Some sections of the warzone map (mainly plunder mode) still lag to 85-95 fps. I’m running at 1080p on a 60Hz screen but notice a clear difference in input quality between 60 and 120 fps. My CPU usage stays around 23-35% with a 4.3-4.2GHz frequency. I’ve overclocked using Ryzen Master, trying different profiles—Balanced, High Performance, 1Usmus, Ultimate Performance. Usage never reaches 100%, usually hovering between 65-75%. The game uses about 14GB RAM. The Config.ini is set correctly (0.55 memory scale, 12 cores). I’ve tested overclocking in every plan, but nothing boosts FPS noticeably. I heard that pushing to 4.3 or 6 cores can help, yet the GPU remains a powerhouse and I’m not seeing frame gains. The Nvidia driver was updated to 457.30 in October 2020; my setup uses just one 8-pin power cable, split across ports. I know using two separate cables would be better. With a light overclock, the GPU works well but still doesn’t add frames. The Nvidia Control panel is fine, and I’m choosing Maximum Performance with Windows GPU Scheduler enabled. Warzone app runs in high performance mode. I watched a video from Artis on YouTube—he’s getting 144+ FPS, full GPU usage, using Ultra Settings (medium-low for competition). That was Season 6. I’m writing as Season Two (Cold War) and this character is frustrated. I’ve tried everything and still can’t reach stable 120 fps. Is the game not well optimized for that frame rate? I just want smooth 120 fps without lag. The feeling of 60fps delay on Warzone is annoying, but at 60fps it feels responsive enough.
