CoD BO4 buggy game update! As expected.
Creating a solid bug-free game without a campaign mode is really challenging. I've never dealt with such problems in any title, especially not in CoD. The price tag of around 70USD for BO4 feels excessive compared to typical AAA titles, yet they charge it that way. If they’re asking for quality, more developers should be willing. This game is riddled with issues—stuttering, lag, connection drops, and mismatched controls. It’s no wonder BF is so far from CoD; they need to improve or pivot to other projects. They keep releasing updates to patch problems, but each one adds more bugs! I’m not a fan of it, but thankfully I love BF.
Adopt this fresh approach: launch a partially completed game, invite users to report issues after purchase, and address problems incrementally.
Game development rarely eliminates bugs completely. Campaign mode consistently took a back seat in most CoD titles after 3, with multiplayer always being the main priority. I prefer games that let you dive straight into multiplayer or blackout modes without spending hours on lengthy campaigns. I purchased my copy of BO4 for £40 on both PC and console, matching the price of other major AAA releases. The only issues I've faced since launch were crashes, mostly in Zombies. There have been no problems with connections or matchmaking so far, and I've played 50-60 hours of multiplayer and blackout, even more for Zombies. I did notice some minor performance hiccups until I boosted my CPU. As a CPU-heavy title, it runs smoothly for me and my friends. Many people criticize CoD because they don’t enjoy it or their systems aren’t powerful enough. While it’s not the top-tier experience, it’s still an enjoyable one. BF targets a different audience, so you’ll find fans of each other’s games on the other platform.
