I believe we can handle this within our company if we need certain specialized UEE gear. Why go elsewhere?

I don't support big transformative companies, thank you.

He likely anticipated that certain individuals would form opposition groups against the UEE, and even without him, they wouldn’t succeed in breaking the game.

The discussion revolves around an issue that may violate game rules or drastically change how it works. It’s unrelated to Chris Roberts.

This topic isn't relevant. You're suggesting creating a different structure within a community focused on one specific group.

In EVE it was closer to a 9:1 advantage for players, SC will likely be the opposite. CR had mentioned this during the town hall meeting. The economic simulation is designed to counter that trend. You can influence it to some extent, but as you progress further, altering it becomes increasingly difficult and the system will respond strongly (similar to the empire), provided the change isn’t embraced—events will occur, though probably not on this scale. It’s not a dedicated forum; we’re just part of the same organization. But I agree this should have been considered when selecting the group initially.

We both agreed right from the start. I was just trying to simplify things for him. Any major changes or updates should be decided by the developers. I thought it would be great if they could design events where we could truly contribute. Not exactly how Defiance planned it, but at least in terms of advancing the game world. A dull game world with no real change is boring. The main idea behind SC is that there’s no final stage—we’re in a living universe that keeps growing. Remember the lore? They mentioned the UEE was fading while the Vanduul grew stronger and more threatening. So there’s plenty of potential for exciting developments.

You'd have to reach out to Ixi, Blade, or Luke, but they're all quite occupied.
