I’m thinking about joining my friend in co-op of FC4, but I’m in Australia and get a solid 2Mbps thanks to Tony Abbott. Anyone know how the game would perform with slower internet? Cheers.

No thought, I haven't tested the coop yet. However, I'm curious about the response.

I think it would be terrible and sorry for your online experience.

Ensure you're not the host when it comes to co-op.

Gaming needs minimal data except when fetching your character details. If latency stays low, it should work. Try testing by sending ping requests to each other (make sure routers permit the commands).

You receive 2MBps, lucky, that’s double what most of us Aussies have. Uploading at 100Kbps is great, so I’m eager for a reply.

Operates without any issues at all. Just remember you need your co-op partner to explore the map, build fortresses, and manage outposts together. It's still a solid experience for completing full playthroughs with friends—only your account updates while others stay consistent. I spent around four hours playing tonight and had a lot of fun coordinating with my partner on taking down defenses and planning strategies.

Edit: At PhillBert - that's roughly 2 Megabits per second ^-^ So approximately 0.25MBps. It's a bit rough but manageable.

Hey there, great to hear you're excited! It really does look amazing, and handling those tougher outposts is a smart move—it adds value and makes the experience more enjoyable. Can't wait to invest again for another copy so my brother can join in too. We'll both be sharing the 100Kbps upload to make it happen!
