I don’t possess an extra power supply unit I can even utilize BIOS adjustments since they often cause resets when I disconnect the battery during startup.

It usually happens when I forcefully shut down the computer, not just during updates. Maybe a damaged motherboard would be expected if it hasn’t been working properly since launch, hehe.

It seems it's getting close to its end of life, unfortunately.

It seems like you're considering switching to a Ryzen 3200G from Asus Prime B450M. Based on personal experiences, upgrading to this processor might offer better performance. AMD boards are often praised for their reliability and build quality.

I’m planning to upgrade and sell my Intel i5 3750K processor. At least that should give me some cash to pay for the upgrades, right? Haha.

fortunately my psu isn't bad and i trust them. i know corsair is great for quality, but affordability is ridiculous. i can manage to buy a ryzen3200g motherboard and ram, but i can't set aside money for a psu since those parts only get me close to my limit. however, i’m sure i’ll upgrade the psu eventually.
