Would a closed-loop system be adequate for cooling one to two GPUs and the CPU together? If yes, should you purchase individual radiators for each component, or would there be more efficient alternatives?

Are there significant advantages to an open-loop custom solution? Would those perks justify the extra expense and upkeep?

For a mobile desktop that moves around monthly, which cooling method makes the most sense?

And if you're open to it, what would you recommend for someone who values performance but isn't willing to spend heavily? Your current i7 920 build has served you well, and I'm a performance-oriented buyer—so as long as the gains are real, the budget can stretch further.

consider examining the EK predator 360, which is an expandable pre-filled closed loop. you can purchase the predator extras; the 360 features quick disconnects that let you attach a pre-filled block to the loop easily. swiftech also offers a similar version, though a full system loop can add weight. how do you transport it? car, bus?
