Hey everyone, I’ve been struck by this idea: using cloning tools, you can get free Windows copies. I understand that’s the goal, but it does seem a bit odd—people usually pay for the OS and then get a one-time installation disk, but now you can clone the whole hard drive for free?

Because then you'd need two distinct keys. If you're after the operating system, you can get an ISO for free without buying a physical disk. However, the real value comes from the key, which can only be used on one computer at a time.
