Hello, Your CPU speed is locked at 4200MHz and it won’t change even when under heavy use. I tried overclocking recently but things went wrong. I followed a tutorial, but after restarting the PC it jumped to 8.6GHz, which I quickly turned off to fix. I’ve attached some screenshots for better understanding. Thanks for your help!

Start by resetting the CMOS and removing the overclock. Use hwinfo64 instead of hwmonitor. Avoid relying on user benchmarks—it’s full of nonsense.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. Your BIOS has been restored to its original settings, yet the issue persists. The frequency has changed to 3.8GHz instead of the expected 4.2GHz.

Results remain consistent across different configurations. Achieving uniform outcomes using hwinfo64.

I own an AMD FX-8320 with eight cores, not a 3600 processor.

After reviewing the "Effective clock," it appears to be functioning correctly but is limited to 3.5 GHz. It's unusual that it no longer displays the standard clock speed.

It looks like the performance peaks near 3.7 across all cores.
