I acquired the Kingston KHX3200C16D4/8GX DDR4 (2x16) but discovered that my PC (Rog Gl10cs) won’t let me do anything. The RAM speed is now 2400, and I can’t perform any overclocking due to my motherboard’s restrictions. Is there another method to install more RAM?
From what I understand, besides choosing an XMP profile, you likely can't adjust the settings further. It seems your system uses a B360 chipset, which doesn’t support memory overclocking. The best solution might be buying a different motherboard with overclocking capabilities, such as a Z390 or Z370 model—though these are currently costly, but prices shouldn’t be too high.
It seems your system is set up with a BIOS that prevents RAM overclocking. You won’t be able to change this without replacing the motherboard. If you need compatibility, consider a new board that matches your existing components and power setup.
Sure, I've got something ready... guess I'll settle for this. way better than a computer that can't play Minecraft. not sure what it all means, but I'm with the elephant crew from Murica.
