However, after reinstalling Windows, the issue was resolved initially but then reappeared. I tested it on three different computers.

Open Device Manager, remove the mouse driver, then allow Windows to set a fresh version of the mouse driver.

I forgot to let you know I tested three different computers, and it worked well on all of them, but when I connected it to mine, the issue returned. Sorry for the confusion.
