Hi, you don’t need an Ethernet cable. You can use the Windows 10 installation media from your USB drive. First, remove the media from the USB and then reinstall it. After setup, you should be able to install the Wi-Fi drivers without any issues. If you encounter prompts during installation, just follow the instructions carefully.
There would likely be a button on the prompt. You should connect it and start it, or plug it in while the PC is running.
You’re already running Windows, so just connecting the USB won’t restart the system through it. It will display the recognized device, and you can proceed with formatting it. The main challenge is getting drivers online without an internet connection.
Plug it in while the PC is active, and it should function properly. I think the other machine is already online.
I recall attempting to format a USB with MemTest86 installed, and in Disk Management there appeared additional partitions. The behavior might vary depending on the operating system.
