You're dealing with a compatibility issue between your old Intel SSD and the new AM4 board. The Windows 11 installer is blocking you because it doesn't recognize your system requirements. With 16GB RAM and an Intel Core i5-3600, you might need to adjust the installation settings or consider a different setup. Check the official Windows 11 requirements and see if there are any recommended configurations for older hardware.

On certain boards, TPM isn't turned on by default. You need to check your BIOS for the TPM/PTT feature your vendor named, and enable it.

Installed Windows 11 literally yesterday. Followed the guide I used. Removed several lines from a file in Notepad and it worked fine. Took a few minutes.

Does this approach still support the standard W11 updates? Many pre-TPM PCs and all guides clearly say this setup blocks future updates, including security patches.

I received the Windows 11 22H2 update along with a cumulative .NET Framework update. Both were installed smoothly after switching to Windows 11 using that approach.

Your system works with Windows 11. Possible problems: UEFI settings in your CSM should be turned off. Ensure it's disabled—note that incorrect settings may cause boot failure or Windows not to locate the OS. The drive must be formatted and a fresh Windows installation should be carried out (format options are available in the Windows setup. All information will be erased, so back up your data first). UEFI mode should remain active (check if it exists; otherwise, it's fine). TPM functionality must be activated (verify firmware or FTPM status). SecureBoot needs to be enabled.
