There are numerous console emulators available. This includes support for the GameCube and Wii.
However, there are no more Next Gen emulators available. They're enhancing their protection features now.
Whoever said otherwise should be disregarded. Each platform has its own exclusives, but you don’t have to fit into one category. Don’t let anyone mislead you. Have fun playing on PC and on consoles. What kind of nonsense is this?
@ Rashy Have you noticed the latest updates for the PS3 emulator? It seems they might be working on it after all. If that’s the case, it probably isn’t the reasons you suggested. I’m a gamer who plays both PC and consoles, and I’m aware there are others discussing this too (several threads and polls exist). I believe your conclusion is based on limited information. Please don’t speak for others.
PC keeps changing and improving. Your choice matters. I have a PS3 and a PC; I often play GTA V or racing games since those are usually better with joysticks, while FPS suits PCs more. Many titles are made just for consoles, but there are also PC versions. If you want the best of both, owning both a PC and a console is ideal. And OP, you can use any console you like.
I favor PC gaming for several personal reasons. 1. I don’t enjoy split-screen multiplayer. 2. I need something I can repair myself if it fails without worrying about bans (unlike Xbox). 3. The games I like are better on PC (BF4, BF2, Skyrim, Half Life, Bioshock). 4. Setting up a high-end PC turned out to be more affordable than buying a console and a PC for work. 5. I support open-source manufacturing, so consoles aren’t the best choice for me. Now, though, I own a PS3 and use it for Grand Tourist 5 and Mortal Kombat with friends. I’ve played Call of Duty and Bioshock on the PS3, but I get frustrated using a controller since I’m used to playing with a mouse and keyboard. (Mortal Kombat feels much smoother on a controller.) The PC versus console debate is subjective, but from a data standpoint, PC usually wins in most scenarios. Here’s a more interesting discussion: If consoles didn’t exist, would you still be a gamer? If PC gaming didn’t exist, would you still be a gamer? Now, if you had to pick—console or PC—what would you choose? If developers could only make for one platform, ports wouldn’t be an issue. No company could force a developer to ignore other systems while releasing games. The existence of multiple platforms fuels debates like Xbox vs PS4 vs PC vs Wii U. We should all unite as consumers and push for fairness from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. We need a universal platform for all games! No more exclusive titles! What really matters is the real difference between consoles? Exclusives. And yes, PC has its own strengths too.
What are you talking about? That is not what making emulators is about.. They can't properly emulate PS4 and Xbox One (or Xbox 360 or PS3 for that matter) is because emulating requires more power than what the console has (That's some basic emulation right there). They are working on a PS3 emulator at the moment, which can only really play some menu screens and I heard Terraria too, because other games are too demanding. And I suppose Dolphin is working on Wii U too, but they have said the jump from Wii -> Wii U was much bigger than the jump from GameCube -> Wii (For obvious reasons, if you know all these consoles) https://www.facebook.com/dolphin.emu/pos...4644827978
