Hello, please help me understand this. I recently purchased a Corsair 850X power supply and noticed that my motherboard has an MSI Mag Z790 Tomahawk Wi-Fi DDR4 interface. It needs two 8-pin CPU power cables. Should I use the two slots beneath the motherboard connections? I’m unsure because the lower four slots are identical and labeled as PCIe/CPU. Can I connect both 8-pin CPUs to these slots, or should I use the separate single connection on the back that’s also marked PCIe/CPU?

All five 8 pin connectors on the modular power supply board share identical wiring and are compatible with both CPU and PCI-e connections.

Thank you for your message.
All 5 PCIe/CPU pin configurations can be used interchangeably, so the choice of which one to connect matters less.
Appreciate the clarification.

in most situations you usually don't require more than one connector unless you're a huge overlocker
