I already own the Dark Souls 3 base game and recently won the deluxe edition through a giveaway. I’m wondering what will happen if I redeem the new code that includes the DLC. If I go with Game + (Game+DLC), which is pricier, would it be a waste of money since I’d lose the cost of the base game? Should I sell the deluxe edition instead of buying the DLC separately? My writing isn’t quite clear, so please let me know if this comes across wrong.

Of course, selling it first would make more sense. But it would definitely be a hassle in my view.

Redeeming Deluxe will only provide additional content packs. Using codes more than once means you lose the original version. For those who have owned the base game for a while, winning a giveaway doesn’t mean gaining money—it’s about losing your own game. After all, you paid to get the DLCs in the first place.
