Hey everyone! I'm working on choosing RAM for my PC build. I'm looking at two options: one 6000 MHz CL30 stick from G.SKILL and another 6400 MHz CL32 from the same brand. Both are DDR5, 2x32GB, and priced similarly. I'm not planning any overclocking and want top performance without sacrificing stability. My board is an ASUS TUF Gaming Z790 with an i9-14900k. Should I go with the higher speed one?

Using these XMP sticks results in a strong performance boost, likely giving you an A rating on RAM. You can still maintain speeds around 6000CL30 with an XMP profile, though 6400CL32 offers marginally better results overall.

They are XMP 3.0 sticks—appreciate the details! I think I’ll choose the 6400 CL32.
