Screen goes dark instantly. All functions stop until I press the restart button on the case. Unknown what will happen. Not using GPU overclock. Specs: 5600x 32GB DDR4, RTX 3070.

This indicates your GPU likely shut down after a short time, similar to what I experienced before. Make sure temperatures are normal and consider lowering game settings to reduce strain. For a single game, that might be the issue.

Not always, certain titles tend to be unstable, have poor memory handling, or suffer from bad optimization. That's a valid observation about indie games. Also, keep an eye on temperatures during gameplay and other titles. With MSI Afterburner, you can monitor RAM and VRAM usage closely.
